Background of the Study
Blockchain technology, initially developed for cryptocurrency applications, has emerged as a powerful tool for ensuring transparency, security, and immutability in various sectors, including education. In educational institutions, blockchain can be used to create secure, tamper-proof records of academic achievements, such as transcripts and certificates. In Sokoto North Local Government Area, Sokoto State, universities face challenges in securely processing and storing academic records.
